I came to Dr. Nachbar for a scar revision for my tummy tuck. Procedure Technique
Dysport injections are done in one of our procedure rooms after your consultation with Dr. Nachbar, taking about 15 – 30 minutes. A numbing cream or local anesthetic is usually not needed since the injections are made with a fine-gauge needle that causes very little discomfort, but it can be requested. The skin will be thoroughly cleansed and five carefully placed Dysport injections will be administered along the brow, followed by a cold compress to limit swelling and bruising. After your procedure at Scottsdale Plastic Surgery, you may resume daily tasks, but you should try to avoid strenuous activities for at least a day.
What to Expect
After a Dysport treatment, you may notice mild swelling and redness near the injection sites, but this typically will resolve in a few days. You should sleep upright for the first night and continue to use a cold compress as needed. Results are often seen within a few days as the appearance of your lines is decreased for a smoother, softer appearance. These results typically last for about 3 – 4 months and touch-up treatments can be scheduled at Scottsdale Plastic Surgery in Scottsdale, AZ to maintain your results.

What's the difference between Dysport and BOTOX?
BOTOX and Dysport are injections that improve dynamic facial wrinkles. Results from Dysport typically develop quicker than BOTOX. Dysport also has longer-lasting results than other relaxers, which is better for larger areas. During your consultation, your injector will help you determine whether BOTOX or Dysport is best for you.
Can Dysport be combined with other treatments

How often should I get Dysport injections?
Your Dysport results can last up to four months. During your initial consultation, your injector will suggest how often you should schedule appointments at our office to maintain your results. You may schedule injections sooner or further apart after seeing the initial Dysport treatment results.
