This woman came to our Scottsdale office as a teenager and said, "I would like my ears to not stick out and overall for them to just be normal." She said she always wore her hair to cover her ears because she did not like the way she looked. She came back after a couple of years and said she was ready to go ahead and have Ear Pinning. Dr. Nachbar performed an Otoplasty / Ear Pinning, reducing the prominence of her ears to about half. Dr. Nachbar measures the distance of the upper, middle, and lower ear from the side of the head during surgery. Before surgery, her right ear was 28, 30, and 27 mm from the side of the head, and after was 14, 15, and 14. The left was 28, 30. 27 before and 15, 15, 14 after. She is shown one month after surgery.
