En-Bloc Complete Capsulectomy Implant Exchange for Calcified Contracture

Our Location

This thin late-50s woman had silicone breast implants that had been in place for decades. She had very little breast tissue present, so the capsular contracture was very apparent. Dr. Nachbar performed an en-bloc removal of the silicone implants with the calcified breast implant capsule in one piece on each side. These old implants were in the subglandular space, so Dr. Nachbar created new implant pockets in the sub-muscular space and placed the larger 475 cc saline breast implants that she wanted, giving her a significant increase in breast size. She is seen 10 months afterwards.
