Rhinoplasty
RhinoplastyThis woman in her 30's came to Dr. Nachbar to improve her nasal shape, especially the hump she had on the top of the nose. We performed a surgical simulation which showed that, if we only reduced the hump, it would make the nose look too long.
We decided that we would do an open rhinoplasty to both reduce the hump on the top of the nose as well as reduce the overall tip projection with perhaps a very slight upturn of the tip of the nose.
Dr. Nachbar performed that procedure using a 3-D printed surgical guide to assist him in reproducing the appearance that she wanted.
She is shown about a year after surgery, and likely will have some additional reduction in the swelling, which is mostly gone but still slightly present.
