Difficult Cases

Overview

While every surgical case is special, some cases are more complex and difficult.  This especially includes cases where there is an unusual anatomical situation, or where there has been previous plastic surgery.  While many plastic surgeons prefer to avoid such cases, and some refuse to care for patients who have had previous surgery, Dr. Nachbar has the experience to manage these difficult cases.  If your situation is more difficult, we encourage you to come in for a complimentary consultation so we can discuss your situation and go over the reasonable alternatives.

More Information

Although every patient's anatomy is somewhat different from every other's, some conditions are more difficult.  A frequent such variation is the "tuberous breast" configuration, where the fold under the breast is elevated, the distance between the lower portion of the nipple complex to the bottom of the breast is short, and the lower breast is poorly developed.

Another frequent situation is the patient who has had previous breast implants, and has a complication such as capsular contracture and tightness.

Although surgery is certainly more difficult in those situations, there are often several options for management of them.

Breast Implant Revision - Yes, I felt comfortable with Dr Nachbar and his surgery scheduler. He gave me honest clear advice about addressing my breast revision concerns and my tummy area. I am scheduled for breast lift and implant replacement next month
